Prima Dance Night 2017 is one of the most popular events of the entire year in Canada. Directed by Thaya Siva and Ranji Thaya , this year’s Dance Night incorporated a wide variety of dances, as well as a mixture of both student and teacher directed dances. The concert took place on April 1st, 2017 with Saturday night being the most popular among students and general public. There were 25 dances in total, and each had its own theme, emotion, costumes and style.
In addition beautiful songs were sung by top ranked Canadian talented singers. When talking to the dancers involved with the choreography, I learned just how much hard work goes into creating each dance. This year the Prima Dance Night 2017 exhibited a wide range of talent across all the grades and ages. I wanted to say that the Prima Dance Night as an “amazing experience, especially because all of the small kids and autism children made me feel really comfortable and happiness atmosphere. Four white stretch limos and a luxury bus brought in over 100 students to the Markham Event Center. It was a well recognition to the dance performers. Many special guests attended including Ontario PC party leader Honorable Patrick Brown, newly elected Toronto city councilor and Tamil Nation’s leader honorable Neethan Shan and Canadian Top ranked business leader Shankar Nallathamby and they delivered speech.
They also delivered special recognition awards to the Prima School and dance performers. With collaboration of Prima Dance School and prestigious dancers from South India put on a unprecedented performance full of amazing talent and a little bit of humor last night event that was held at Markham Event Centre. The auditorium was packed with family, friends, and students all gathered to watch a Prima Dance Night time performance in the Spring weekend holiday. Special thanks to all who participated in setting up and working together to make the night a success.
A big congratulations to all Prima Dance School and special dance team from South India who worked so hard, and to our parents, who showed such support and brought the wonderful audiences for the shows! I heard so many great compliments about last night show. The audience liked your dances, music, costumes, stories, and props. Some of the audience traveled long distances from other cities to see your performance. It is so overwhelming to hear so many “excellent,” “extraordinary,” “wonderful,” “spectacular”, “fantastic…” These good words are for all of you! Everyone contributed, and you and Prima School succeeded! A big thanks to everyone! Their dance was so impressive and powerful! Wow! We always appreciate the range of choreography including the dances that challenged and showed the strengths of your dancers. Thank you also for creating a warm and supportive dance community for all our children. Some of guests came from a long way to watch the show specially from the University residence and they were totally amazed by the size and the quality of the show. They can’t say enough good comments about the show. My mother Queenie Param and Dad Ponn Param are inspired from all the dancers and my grand mom said it’s so much interesting to watch our small kids’ rocking performance. She asked me to ask the organizers to extend the time and put more performances.
She is very enthusiastic about dancing Vithusayni Paramanathan further said. I wanted Thaya and Ranji Thaya to know how much I enjoyed your dance program yesterday. It was spectacular! I enjoyed seeing the different age groups and I thought that the insertion of the various fashions were absolutely beautiful.
